Climate Change

Climate change describes the man made drift of climate variables. Human activities, dominantly the burning of fossil fuels, are responsible for increasing concentrations of green house gases. At higher concentrations of green house gases the infrared radiation is trapped into the atmosphere and leads to higher temperatures.

The influence of man is now widely accepted. Global warming is one consequence, the other might be a catastrophic failure of the climate system of our planet earth.
